Ear training for piano players

Learn piano.
By ear.

Web iOS Android

Learn any song

Pick from the built-in catalog, or import a MIDI file or any audio recording. Learn each hand separately, then bring them together.

Train your ear

Interval drills and song mnemonics train your ear as you play, so you start recognizing notes by sound, not just by finger position.

Play your way

Mouse, touchscreen, or a real MIDI keyboard over USB or Bluetooth — whatever's already in front of you.

FAQ

Do I have to pay every month, or is it a one-time purchase?

It's a single one-time purchase that unlocks the full app for good, including all future updates — no subscription, no recurring billing, no ads.

Do I have to buy it again for iOS or Android?

No. Sign in with the same email on any platform and your purchase unlocks the full app there too — one purchase covers web, iOS, and Android.

Do I need a MIDI keyboard?

No. Play with your mouse or a touchscreen — a MIDI keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) is optional.

Why are there separate iOS and Android apps, not just the website?

Mainly for MIDI keyboards. iPhone's browser has no way to talk to MIDI hardware at all, and Android's Bluetooth MIDI needs native access a browser doesn't get — the iOS and Android apps exist to support that. Everything else works the same in your browser.

Can I use my own songs?

Yes. Import a MIDI file, or just an MP3, WAV, or other audio recording — KeyEar transcribes it into playable notes automatically. You can also record something yourself to learn later.
